FerryList is a privacy-first wishlist and vault manager designed with offline architecture. We firmly believe that "zero server upload is the ultimate data security." The app runs 100% locally. Your memories, asset files, and media attachments are instantly encrypted (AES-256) and saved exclusively inside your device's sandbox. It is entirely shielded from external interceptors.
A: No. Because FerryList operates entirely offline without backend servers, we do not have access to, nor control over, your encryption keys. The keys are the only tools to decrypt your local vault. Please store them somewhere safe and secure.
A: You can choose "Export Backup" in Settings to generate a .ferry encrypted archive. You can copy this file locally or send it to another device, and restore it securely using the original backup passcode.
A: No internet required. FerryList is designed as a standalone, offline-only system, preventing data leakage caused by cloud storage vulnerabilities or network sniffing.
